Trigger Point Release Therapy

Trigger Points or muscle ‘knots’ or taut bands are the sensitive points in muscles which are hard and painful. These points can be felt by pressing on the muscles which are painful when we apply a force on them.

Trigger Point Release Therapy is a form of massage therapy in which direct pressure is applied on the trigger points or tender muscles to reduce muscle tension and pain. Trigger points can be managed quickly with sustained compression on the affected tissue for 30 to 90 seconds resulting in decreased pain and muscle tension.
