Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy is an ancient form of Alternative medicine in which we put special suction cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction to encourage blood and lymph flow to promote healing.

Cupping therapy helps reducing pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being of a patient. It also work as a deep-tissue massage. Its trending now but the technique is ancient.

Cupping Therapy procedure is painless but it can leave quite noticeable bruises on your skin which can last for a few days but if you are opting out Wet cupping, the cuts on your skin can cause little pain.

There are two main types of cupping therapy:

Dry Cupping: In dry cupping, there are two main ways that people are treated. The other technique is known by a few different names, such as sliding cupping or gliding cupping. This is where the cups are placed on the body and moved around without breaking contact with the skin.

Wet cupping: In wet cupping, we creates a suction first by applying the cups in place for about 3-5 minutes. Then the therapist removes the cup and uses a small scalpel or surgical blade, to make light and small cuts on your skin. After making the cuts, the cups are applied again to draw out a small quantity of blood.

Both the two techniques are the same in the application of Suction Cups but in Wet Cupping, the therapist makes cuts with the surgical blade and suction cups are applied on those cuts.
